Cute As...?!

Jumper - Asos
Skirt (similar) - Brandy Melville
Shoes - Asos
Earrings - River Island

Outfit posts have been severely lacking on this blog due to the fact that indoor settings are boring as, and I may have misplaced the part of my tripod that attaches the camera to the stand.. whoops. However I braved the poor weather to capture my new favourite jumper and shoes from my go to online shopping destination which is Asos, of course. Asos can do no wrong. My friend Sara captured these shots for me, and she has just started her own blog which you should all definitely check out. Think sharp, sophisticated style - basically the complete opposite of me.

Also, If you didn't already know I recently created a YouTube channel, and just posted the TMI tag, so if you want to get to know me a little better then watch below and head on over to subscribe!

Getting Creative with Clothes.

Hey Guys,

Lately I've been feeling slightly bored with the clothing available and after being inspired by The Great British Sewing Bee, I really wanted to create some of my own clothes. My nan had previously taught me how to use a sewing machine but It goes in one ear and out the other with me, and had fast been forgotten. When she came to stay with me recently, I picked her brain and she helped me to create a simple straight denim skirt out of some fabric she had going spare. I was really happy with my first creation but wanted to spruce it up further so I raided Etsy to find the perfect iron on patches to give the skirt the on trend folk fairy tale feel. I got mine from the seller Kraft Folks but there are some really fun ones on there.

To customise my skirt, I simply positioned the patches, and then heated up my iron. I overlaid a sheet on top of the skirt and pressed the iron on top for a while to make sure the flowers were secure and then left the skirt to cool for an hour.

Here is the finished product, combined with some of my other amazing Etsy finds. I bought this top from a seller a couple of years ago, and unfortunately they do not stock it anymore, but it has lasted me so well and the print has not faded one bit which is great for something handmade.
My favourite purchase has to be these fluffy turquoise earrings though! How mega are they!? These were made by the amazing Pom queen - Frilly Pops.

Have you guys found any unique things on Etsy?

I've been bad!!

Top - Matalan
Dungarees - Miss Selfridge
Socks - Primark
Creepers

Hello girlies, long time no speak. I have been a terrible blogger lately, don't know what's been wrong with me apart from the shit college life I lead however I am ready to get back into the world of blogging, especially now spring is upon us. The weather has finally sorted itself and the legs and asses are coming out everywhere, but still a few remain in winter coats? What is wrong with those people!? I have nearly reached the end of college now and handed in my history coursework and finished my photography exam, all that is left is my history exam .. definitely gonna ace that.. not. Anyway I have become obsessed with buying make-up lately, it's an addiction. I'm thinking of making a YouTube channel to assist my blog when I get a decent camera that will film also, so watch this space in the summer.

A wintery spring.

Jeans- River Island via Asos
Shirt - Charity Shop
Jersey - Charity Shop
Shoes - Office

The hiatus status on my blog has been bugging me lately, I just haven't been able to decide what to post, or find someone to take photos for me so I have converted back to the religious ways of the tripod! Got good news this week, I got an offer for the Fashion media and promotion course that I wanted to take at Northbrook college. Actually was so nervous as it was my last chance to get onto a course this year as I had originally planned to do history then changed my mind after I had sent my application off but anyway it is all sorted now! Expect more frequent posts from now on!

LFW - Day 4.

Hat - Johnny Cupcakes
Skirt - River Island (Jan Sales)
Sweatshirt - Vintage
Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell

Hey everyone, I didn't want to over load you all with LFW posts so I decided to hold this one back, and post a few days after it had all ended. So after a super exciting week, I am now back to a life full of history essays and dull college work. Yay. Anyway, this is what I wore on day 4 of the week, and  this was actually the last day I went up there, towards the end of the week, everything had just completely died down and was a bit boring to be honest. I just wish I could've seen more shows, HINT HINT for next year. My friend and I got interviewed by New Look about shows we'd seen but I just let her do the talking and I stood there in silence nodding along like a bobble head, so really hoping that video never surfaces. I feel like I need to start planning my outfits for the next fashion week now haha! Anyway, hope you all had a good time if you were there, or if you were spectating through the internet.

LFW: Street Style.

This past week has been a blast! I've met some amazing people whilst being up in London for Fashion Week. Shout out to Ria, Belinda & Jamila!! The street style up at Somerset house has been on point, and has inspired me so much to take some more risks in my day to day style. These are just some of my favourite looks that I saw during the week (Note how I decided not to include the absolutely ridiculous outfits) and the last picture is of Belinda & I with Mark Francis from Made In Chelsea - Looking fab in Valentino DARLING!  I am already anticipating the next Fashion week and can't wait to see the new styles that will emerge there next time and hopefully to also meet some of you lovely people!!
