Cute As...?!

Jumper - Asos
Skirt (similar) - Brandy Melville
Shoes - Asos
Earrings - River Island

Outfit posts have been severely lacking on this blog due to the fact that indoor settings are boring as, and I may have misplaced the part of my tripod that attaches the camera to the stand.. whoops. However I braved the poor weather to capture my new favourite jumper and shoes from my go to online shopping destination which is Asos, of course. Asos can do no wrong. My friend Sara captured these shots for me, and she has just started her own blog which you should all definitely check out. Think sharp, sophisticated style - basically the complete opposite of me.

Also, If you didn't already know I recently created a YouTube channel, and just posted the TMI tag, so if you want to get to know me a little better then watch below and head on over to subscribe!

Getting Creative with Clothes.

Hey Guys,

Lately I've been feeling slightly bored with the clothing available and after being inspired by The Great British Sewing Bee, I really wanted to create some of my own clothes. My nan had previously taught me how to use a sewing machine but It goes in one ear and out the other with me, and had fast been forgotten. When she came to stay with me recently, I picked her brain and she helped me to create a simple straight denim skirt out of some fabric she had going spare. I was really happy with my first creation but wanted to spruce it up further so I raided Etsy to find the perfect iron on patches to give the skirt the on trend folk fairy tale feel. I got mine from the seller Kraft Folks but there are some really fun ones on there.

To customise my skirt, I simply positioned the patches, and then heated up my iron. I overlaid a sheet on top of the skirt and pressed the iron on top for a while to make sure the flowers were secure and then left the skirt to cool for an hour.

Here is the finished product, combined with some of my other amazing Etsy finds. I bought this top from a seller a couple of years ago, and unfortunately they do not stock it anymore, but it has lasted me so well and the print has not faded one bit which is great for something handmade.
My favourite purchase has to be these fluffy turquoise earrings though! How mega are they!? These were made by the amazing Pom queen - Frilly Pops.

Have you guys found any unique things on Etsy?

My Boyfriend's Clothes

Top - Primark Mens // Boyfriend Jeans - Forever 21 // Shoes - Office

Hello everyone, so I am officially back at university - cry :(. If you guys didn't know I am living a couple of hours from home and studying a Fashion Media & Promotion degree at a college. Due to attending a college, I actually live in a flat instead of halls and as lovely as it is, it isn't half lonely! I miss my family and friends so much, and as my boyfriend is up in Cambridge too, the Long distance is killing me! This is our second year of long distance although last year was way easier as I was still at home and he could come back often, but now we are miles apart! Skype calls galore - if anyone would like to see a blog post on how to deal with long distance relationships then drop me a comment and I will share my experience more! Anyway inspired by the absence of my man, I threw on my baggy but gorgeous boyfriend jeans and this Primark Mens Tshirt from a couple of years ago, and made sure I was comfy for the rain and Uni. Hope everyone is having a good week and If any of you guys are alone at university - I feel your pain!

February Survival Kit

Scarf - Asos // Sunglasses - Zerouv // Bag - H! by Henry Holland via Debenhams

Hello My lovelies, what a weird month February has been. It's fair to say that these first couple of months of 2014 have been.. different to say the least. It would seem life likes to shock us when we least expect it, just this week I have suffered from illness, death, car crashes and hospital galore, thankfully none involving me or my nearest and dearest ones but still none the least shocking. I wanted to share with you all my few accessories that have been key to getting through this tough month which are all still stylish yet with bargain price tags. I nabbed this HUGE fluffy scarf in the last minute of the Asos sale for £8, and it is more like a blanket than a scarf - perfect for all those suffering from chilly bodies and sniffly noses. The sunglasses may seem random with the scarf however the sun has been shining giving me hope that spring soon will have sprung and this dreaded wet weather will be gone. That being said my favourite purchase of this month is without a doubt this gorgeous bright blue satchel from Henry Holland's range in Debenhams, it is literally the perfect size and made from such good quality materials, and even better that I got it on sale for the tiny price of £10! Even if I feel lifeless, at least this bag will add a splash of colour to the world.

How have your February's been so far? Hopefully a lot better than mine!

Hello my dears! Long time no see as always. I hope everyone had a good christmas and new year, I know I did, as I cannot even remember coming into the new year in traditional Paige fashion. Vampy Lipsticks are going to become a trade mark thing for me, I can tell, they are just about the only colours that really suit me. This is just a simple outfit for a day at Uni starring my amazing boots and jacket that my boyfriend picked out for me for christmas ( Amazing or what?!) Here's to a happy new year and many more blog posts from me - fingers crossed.

LFW - Day 4.

Hat - Johnny Cupcakes
Skirt - River Island (Jan Sales)
Sweatshirt - Vintage
Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell

Hey everyone, I didn't want to over load you all with LFW posts so I decided to hold this one back, and post a few days after it had all ended. So after a super exciting week, I am now back to a life full of history essays and dull college work. Yay. Anyway, this is what I wore on day 4 of the week, and  this was actually the last day I went up there, towards the end of the week, everything had just completely died down and was a bit boring to be honest. I just wish I could've seen more shows, HINT HINT for next year. My friend and I got interviewed by New Look about shows we'd seen but I just let her do the talking and I stood there in silence nodding along like a bobble head, so really hoping that video never surfaces. I feel like I need to start planning my outfits for the next fashion week now haha! Anyway, hope you all had a good time if you were there, or if you were spectating through the internet.

London Fashion Week - Day 2.

Top - HQ
Trousers - Forever 21
Coat - Very Clearance (Ebay)
Shoes/Socks - Topshop
Bag / Necklace- Forever 21

This year I have been lucky enough to attend London Fashion Week as part of an internship. I have only been to one show which began at 9 and typically all the trains decided not to work, and so it was such a rush to get there. THEN my amazing platform shoes that I am in love with decided to snap, complete disaster. However, I did manage to make it to DAKS show and it was so cool to actually be in there! The clothes were structured, and very heritage inspired,  I could imagine Burberry as being one of the main inspirations to the designer. So anyway after the show I trekked to Topshop with a broken shoe (getting many weird looks) and bought these flatforms which actually got a lot of attention with the photographers, so maybe it wasn't all bad?! Got photographed a fair few times which really has given me a lot more confidence in my style, whilst also being inspired so much by the other people there! (Oh, and got snapped by the vogue.co.uk photographer - rather exciting! Haha) The only suckish thing is that we were there so early before the place filled up, and so as we were exhausted decided to call it a day. Drop me a comment if you were there, and your experience!

Like a Virgin.

White. The colour of innocence and childhood. Except the only thing white reminds me of is being kicked in the shins and getting mud all over my brand new white skinnys, or eating a juicy burger and the sauce squirting down my clean top. However that being said, white is such a beautiful colour and is set to be one of the biggest trends this S/S 13. Get the stain remover at the ready! This trend has been seen all over the runways this year, opening many shows, and encouraging many celebrities to join the trend on the red carpets. (How gorgeous is the Ralph Lauren Gown that Taylor Swift wore!) Here are some bargain picks to get you guys in on the trend, just be extra careful to work your day around the white and not decide to go venturing through any muddy parks!

My 18th.

Hello Everyone!
Sorry for the recent lack of posts, the icey weather and just general excuses have gotten in the way of me posting this past week. Excuses aside, last Saturday I celebrated my 18th birthday in a local wine bar with my all my friends and family. I had such a good night (apart from the stress of hosting - can't be dealing with that shit) and drunk a little too much as everyone should on their 18th. I also wanted to be girly and feel like a princess in a pretty dress! Below are some pictures of the early part of the night just with my closest friends and family. Hope everyone else's weekend was as great as mine!

Sales Haul

Like every other girl, I was extremely disappointed with the sales this year. Matt and I trekked all the way up to Oxford Street simply for me to buy one pair of shorts & a ring, a McDonalds and a drink from boots. Such a waste of effort! Anyway, I did get some lovely bargains from River Island. Firstly, I got this white lace maxi skirt. It is the most beautiful skirt I've ever seen, I feel like such a hippy bride when I wear it! The only issue with it is that it is impossible to squeeze past my ass, and I have to pull it past my boobs instead which is also a near impossible task. The things I do to wear pretty things.. I also bought these Dog Tooth Jeans off the Asos website and they are so flattering, definitely one of the best pairs I own, and these floral high waisted shorts. The 5 piece ring was £3 from Miss Selfridge - Cute little bargain there. Later on into the sales, I visited the Motel Rocks website and I had to indulge in this V Neck Playsuit, and this white dress, unfortunately it is far too small in the chest area, so I have to decide whether to send it back, use as a present or sell it off? Any Takers?
